Is it sustainable that we continue on our current path of technological development?

Your reflection does a great job outlining your opinion on what a sustainable future looks like and how your research backs up your ideal future. One part I want to point out that I really enjoyed was that, in your research, you said that technology companies design platforms to keep people’s attention because attention can generate profit. It made me think about how technology is affecting my life. Some areas I think need work: first, define technology development because you said that technology isn’t the problem, but we need to change how technology is made/developed. Secondly, go in more depth on how we can use technology in your ideal future. Overall, it was a fantastic reflection on the driving question, and seeing what your ideal future looks like and using your research to back up your claims is great; the only thing to work on is going more in depth on how technology can be used in your ideal future.

What is the impact of technology on education and on us?

Your reflection does a great job of explaining the impact of technology on education. I really liked how you explained that technology gives students immediate access to a wide range of learning materials and opportunities to collaborate with others. This reminded me of a study I read about digital libraries and how they can give students easier access to information and resources. I also liked the way you structured your reflection because it was easy to follow and clearly showed how you answered the driving questions.

One thing I think you could improve is discussing how technology affects us as individuals, not just education. You could include some examples, such as how technology can affect our communication, relationships, physical activity, or the amount of time we spend online. Overall, I thought your reflection was well put together and easy to understand. It was also clear that you had done good research to support your ideas.
